EVENT PARKING

VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CLOSELY

The event parking lot - for athletes only - is within the closed race course. For this reason, all athletes have been assigned a specific time to enter the park from the main park entrance. This will be strictly enforced.

IMPORTANT:

  1. Please be your designated parking queue (times below) and ready to park 5 minutes before your assigned window (aka, parking queue). Do NOT miss your assigned parking window.

  2. ONLY come in your assigning parking queue time (very important!) - NO EARLIER.

  3. Spectator parking is 1.75 miles away from the venue. Parents/Friends - if you plan to come and cheer your athlete on - it’s best to carpool and arrive in your athlete’s car. Otherwise, you will be directed to the spectator lot 1.75 miles away. Shuttle service will be available to and from the spectator parking area. There is no handicapped parking at this event (we are sorry).

  4. Athletes are asked to leave the venue soon after your race - you will exit using the back exit of the park. Do not try to leave the parking area the way you came in.

  5. If the athlete parking area fills to capacity, all vehicles will be directed to the Spectator parking lot. From there, a shuttle will be available. If you have equipment with you (ie, a bike) you will be cycle down to the main venue.

  6. EACH VEHICLE ENTER THE PARK NEEDS A PARKING PASS. PARKING PASSES FOR ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLINE ONLY UNTIL SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24th (THE DEADLINE TO PURCHASE ONLINE HAS EXPIRED)

  7. If you plan to come to the park on Friday, March 1st to review the course, you will need to pay for a $5 parking pass at the guard gate entrance of the park. Note: the course will not be set up and marked until Friday at 3:00 PM. There are no lifeguards on duty - you are swimming and cycling the course at your own risk. Finally, what is most important about Friday is that the Park will enforce capacity limits (# of cars in the park). That is to say, the park will close its main entrance and no one will be allowed to enter the park.  Please expect this WILL happen.  There is a high likelihood the park will be closed by late morning on Friday and will likely reopen mid-afternoon as capacity opens up.

PLEASE respect the park, following all directions, and take a moment to thank all of the wonderful park staff you see.

All vehicles that are not carrying bikes, will be directed to the spectator parking area (see right).

Shuttles will be available to transport people to and from the spectator parking area to the main venue (in between each race). Athletes may also park in the spectator area and simply bike down to the venue and back.

The distance between the two lots is approximately 1.75 miles.
