RACE CLERMONT 2026
2026 CLERMONT DRAFT LEGAL – REGISTRATION CHEAT SHEET
Clermont is the go-to early season race where athletes test their speed, chase goals, and kick off the triathlon year with purpose. Whether you’re a returning alum or planning your first draft legal start, this is the weekend that sets the tone for 2026.
HIGH-LEVEL REMINDERS
Registration opens Friday, November 1st at 12:00 PM (noon) EST to accommodate athletes in different time zones.
Register early! Several races sell out quickly each year.
Check your USA Triathlon (USAT) membership. If it’s expired, you can easily renew or purchase a new one through our registration platform — we’ve moved to RunSignUp, which links directly to USAT’s membership portal.
Parking passes are required for all vehicles entering the venue on race weekend. Save time by purchasing your parking pass during registration — it will be included in your race packet at check-in.
SPECIFIC RACE REMINDERS (Visit the specific race for more information)
The EDR start list features some of the fastest athletes (ages 16–25) in the country. This event is for experienced draft legal athletes only — no beginners. The field is capped at 90 athletes, and most athletes compete both days (Saturday and Sunday).
Our Youth races (ages 12–15) are designed to help young athletes gain valuable draft legal experience. Two super sprint races — one on Saturday and one on Sunday — are offered, with separate divisions for boys and girls. Most athletes race both days.
We hosted the nation’s first-ever Age Group Draft Legal race in 2010. Fifteen years later, we’re proud to continue that legacy. This race is a great opportunity to gain experience and sharpen your draft legal racing skills.
We hope your coach has already secured your team’s spot! Options include the EDR races, a Super Sprint on Saturday, and the NCAA race on Sunday.
We love ending race weekend with this event! It’s fast, fun, and competitive. We anticipate 25–30 teams this year — reserve your spot soon (you can always find a relay partner later).
